More than ever, the wild tiger is embattled in a fight for its very existence. Three of the eight sub-species are gone forever. If the tiger is to survive, it will be through responsible captive breeding programs that can maintain healthy populations of tigers that can in some form participate in a reintroduction program when their native habitat is stabilized.
The Marcan Tiger Preserve is dedicated to this task. So take some time to browse our site and learn about our programs. We invite you to see how you can take an active role in our mission of protecting one of the earth's great vanishing species.
